Tony MarcelliHi, my name is Tony Marcelli and I am the owner operator of MG Homes. I’m the son of an Italian mother and father who came to Canada in the late 1950’s. Working under the guidance of my father as a teenager in the stone mason trade, I developed a passion for construction and quality workmanship. I started my first company in 1985 (Marcelli Construction), a masonry company. I owned and operated this company for 20 years before pursuing a lifelong dream of becoming a custom home builder.
After a successful partnership building homes in the Georgina area, I made the decision to move my family to the City of Barrie. There was a great amount of opportunity, and this is when I founded MG Homes. I’m not your typical briefcase builder who stops by only to check on things. I enjoy being hand’s on during the entire construction process. Construction upgrades are found throughout my homes including heat loss prevention and eco-friendly building. MG Homes is one of few builders in the Barrie and surrounding area with Energy Star certification. Thanks to the support of many people, a dream has become a reality for me and I look forward to working with you to build your family's custom dream home. |
